Some items in our stations carry a PREMIUM badge in the app. It is higher end gear: an official match ball rather than a training ball, for example.
Premium items sit in the same station, often in the same lockers, right next to free ones. On a single station you can find a free ball and a Premium ball side by side. The badge under each item tells you which is which.
Two ways to unlock it
With Plus, the monthly subscription. Access to Premium equipment is its first benefit, and you also get the four others.
For a single session, as a one off purchase, without subscribing.
⚠️ The two are not equivalent. The single session option unlocks the Premium equipment for that session only. It does not give you the other Plus benefits: booking in advance, longer sessions, Fast Track unlocking and priority support stay with the subscription.

Good to know
Not every station has Premium equipment.
The price of both options is shown in the app before you confirm.
You never need Premium equipment to play. The free items in the same station work perfectly well.
