In some rare cases, you might face difficulty accessing a station's electronic box — often due to a rusty screw. Here's what you should do to handle the situation safely and efficiently:
1. First Attempt: Use a Manual Screwdriver
Start by trying to unscrew the box using a manual screwdriver, even if the screw appears rusty. This helps preserve the station and avoid any unnecessary damage.
2. Try Several Times
If the screw doesn’t come out easily, try again with different screwdriver bits and apply steady pressure. Multiple attempts often do the trick.
3. If It Still Doesn’t Work: Use a Grinder
As a last resort, you can use a grinder to remove the rusty screw. ⚠️ Make sure to do this gently and carefully, to avoid damaging the rest of the station.
➡️ Important: Please plan to have a replacement shelf on hand, as using a grinder may damage the existing one.
✅ Note: This method has worked every time in previous cases.
4. Still Impossible to Open?
If all else fails and you still can’t access the electronic box, the station will need to be replaced.
In that case, make sure to recover any usable parts from the current station before removal.
